Dog Races

The World Championship Dog Race marks over 75 years of dog races in The Pas. The races organized by The Pas Kinsmen Club consists of 3 laps of 35 miles per day with about $40,000 in prize money.

Kinsmen Club

The Dog Races Project is one of the many highlights for our club. It takes a huge commitment of man hours to make this race a success, but we love doing it and we look forward to seeing the mushers return every February.

BBQ Raffle

Darrell Hogue, Doc McGillvary, and Dave Roberts welcome everyone to visit the Kinsmen booth at the Trade Show. BBQ tickets will be available!

Rotary and Kinsmen Project

As a joint venture in 1999, the Rotary and the Kinsmen, with engineering and grant support from the Town, began work on this 10 Km project.  Paving, planting trees, building a bridge, laying sod, and landscaping were all undertaken.  By 2003, the major work was completed.  There are still a few areas on the pathway that are not paved, but an impressive $400,000 has been put into its construction and maintenance.  In 2006, Tolko donated $20,000 towards benches and paving.
